A Deed to the Land: Our Heritage Trail
Researcher, writer (2019)
Created in collaboration with Look Who's Beck and the Dubuque County Conservation Board, this educational booklet is a history of Dubuque's own Rails to Trails park, the Heritage Trail. It tells the story of the Heritage Trail from the beginning of geologic time until the present day and was gifted to trail members and patrons who purchased passes in 2019.
Prairie Grass Exhibit
Collaborator, researcher, writer (2020)
This interactive exhibit on the importance of prairie grass, complete with real ancient artifacts on permanent loan from the office of the Iowa State Archaeologist, shows how humans have interacted with the ecosystem throughout history. Bella Wines: A Concept Menu
Originally created for Bella Euro Bistro in Chicago, this wine menu explores the geography, ecology, and flavor profiles of the restaurant's imported wine selection. I researched a lot and sampled as many varieties as I could so the descriptions would be as authentic as possible! Contact me if you'd like to see the full menu.

Every student, no matter what, has the potential to thrive and achieve their goals. Every aspiring writer has a unique voice and something important to say. If you want to learn to write, I’ll help you find yours.
I've worked as a writing tutor for students of all ages, from elementary school to college and beyond. I offer conscious critiques on creative writing as well as support in the humanities and academic research, including APA and MLA format.
In general, my mentoring style works to accomplish personal and academic goals with a focus on relationship building, trust, and the cultivation of self-confidence. I believe that when you recognize your own abilities and personal power, you will perform better at everything you do. Before you know it, you’ll be writing better than you ever knew you could.
