House & Pet Sitting

Andrea is hands-down the most respectful and considerate house and pet sitter that I have ever worked with.

She is responsible, reliable, hard-working, intelligent, perceptive, and operates with a high level of integrity. She was a live-in house sitter for me whilst I was abroad on several trips, ranging from weeks to months long. She cared for my cat, plants, brought in my mail, and generally watched and took care of my place.

I came home to a happy animal, healthy plants, a clean space, and even a welcome home gift from Andrea. The sheets and towels were left clean and the space was left thoughtfully prepared for my arrival. It was apparent that she had taken good care of everything while I was gone.

I fully trust Andrea with my home, animal, and valuables and can relax knowing that she is watching over my affairs. She's the best!

Childcare, Farmhand & House Sitting

What can I say? Drea is not only an amazing human, she’s a valuable caretaker. She regularly Farm sat for my husband and I while were homesteading-once for 20 days while we visited family in Germany! She also became a reliable and much loved babysitter for our children (two boys, at the time a toddler and a pre-teen), and has helped me with so many other things! Her skills as a mechanic, writer, photographer, and competent farm help, have helped me out more times than I can count. Drea is the person you want by your side, or in your stead!

Caregiving

To whom it may concern:

It is my pleasure to recommend Andrea as a caregiver. We met Andrea via WorkAway, an international website where travelers and host families exchange work for room and board. During our correspondence, Andrea explained that she worked for a home care provider that specialized in community living for adults and the elderly with intellectual disabilities.

Andrea stayed in our home from January to March 2016 to help care for my 73 year old mother-in-law, Christine, who is terminally ill and bedridden. Andrea's responsibilities were to assist another live-in caregiver with meal preparations, going to the market, help Christine wash, offer massages, and general household cleaning. She managed the weekly budget responsibly, was kind, patient and respectful.

Christine enjoyed Andrea's care and company and we stayed in touch. A year later (February 2017), Andrea emailed me and offered to help Christine again during her two week visit. Of course, we were happy to welcome her back into our home.

I would recommend Andrea for any position regarding care-giving, money management, and household responsibilities. She is reliable and a good team player.
